The Pomona Campus Pastor at Patria Church is responsible to provide pastoral and leadership oversight to the assigned location. The Campus Pastor position requires full knowledge of Patria Church’s ministries, policies and procedures to effectively demonstrate Patria Church culture. The incumbent will oversee the ministries of the campus as directed by the Campus Operations Pastor. Understanding the relational connection between Patria Church Headquarters and all campuses is critical. A high degree of pastoral ministry to the congregation through meetings, counseling, discipleship, and mentoring. As a primary pastoral contact for the congregation, the incumbent will handle a high volume of pastoral responsibilities. The Campus Pastor will report directly to the Campus Operations Pastor. Every position at Patria Church reflects the mission to Seek the Lost, Teach the Found, and Send the Disciples, and carries the conviction that every family matters to God in accordance with Ephesians 3:14–15. The Pomona Campus Pastor reports directly to the Campus Leadership and Discipleship Executive.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Fully embraces and acts in accordance with the vision of Patria Church to Seek the Lost, Teach the Found, and Send the Disciples.
Model the spirit of Patria Church’s guiding scripture, Ephesians 3:14–15, by building a church community that supports and strengthens families. Foster faith, worship, and belonging across every ministry and campus.
Fulfill the four pillars of Patria Church. Christ (Mission Christ-Centered Driven), Community (Diversity Kingdom Driven), Character (Leadership Discipleship Driven), Commitment (Family Driven) church.
Embrace and execute a Neighborhood Groups philosophy of ministry, fostering community, discipleship, and connection across families and campuses.
Pastoral:
- Responsible for stage communication for facilitation of services: exhortation, communion, announcements, offering, altar call, etc.
- Responsible for pastoral care functions as applicable: Weddings, Funerals, Hospital Visits, Baby Dedications, Baptisms, etc.
- Oversee and execute counseling process for members and attendees of assigned location, ensuring timely intake, confidentiality, quality note taking.
- Responsible for preaching when there are technical difficulties and/or assigned by Patria Church leadership.
- Responsible to market, oversee, and multiply Neighborhood Groups that are birthed from assigned campus location.
- Teach and lead in small and large group settings.
- Other pastoral duties as assigned by Patria Church HQ.
Operations and Administration:
- Implement and oversee ministry leaders and teams such as: Dream Team, Production, Worship, Patria Kids, Patria Youth, Safety & Security, social media, Outreach, etc.
- Create healthy rhythms of meeting schedules with your leaders and team for cascading of vision, strategy and support.
- Oversee assimilation process for assigned location ensuring flow of next steps of first-time visitors to volunteers.
- Oversee logistics to ensure campus facility is prepared for services and campus events.
- Coordination with Patria Church HQ for special services such as Easter, Christmas, Mother’s Day, etc.
- Timely completion of timecard approvals for assigned staff.
- Develop and manage operational budgets for the campus and events.
- Ensure all necessary reporting data is updated weekly: Fellowship One head-counts, first time visitors, Growth Track, Baptism, etc.
- Provide weekly status updates and reporting for campus to senior leadership.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels of service materials such as VIP Brochures, First Time Visitor Gifts, Growth Track booklets, etc.
- Responsible for campus responsiveness to calls and emails within a 24-48 time frame.
Outreach:
- Develop and maintain community relationships with key influencers and organizations to continue to build Patria Church presence in the assigned city.
- Find opportunities to serve the needs of the community on an ongoing basis.
- Attend and participate in citywide events of assigned location with campus team and/or volunteers.
- Oversee operations and budget of Generosity Center if at assigned location.
Leadership Development:
- Lead, administrate and empower campus staff and volunteers for the development of future leaders.
- Implement and oversee operational development and growth for campus assigned.
- Collaborate with Patria Church HQ leadership to continually improve processes and procedures for Patria Church campuses.
- Build a leadership pipeline of potential future leaders for campus roles,
- Build relationships with top givers of assigned campus.

Education, Training, and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies, Ministry, Leadership, or a related field preferred, or equivalent ministry training and experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive pastoral ministry experience, including preaching, pastoral care, and congregational leadership.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and volunteers in a multi-ministry, service-based environment (weekend services, discipleship pathways, outreach, and events).
- Proven ability to lead within a multi-site or campus model, including partnership with central leadership and alignment to shared ministry standards.
- Experience developing and coaching leaders, building a volunteer pipeline, and creating healthy team rhythms.
- Experience with pastoral care processes (counseling intake, care follow-up, confidentiality practices, and documentation standards).
- Working knowledge of church operations, including service planning, guest assimilation, basic budget oversight, and ministry reporting practices.

Organizational and Spiritual Requirements
- Always demonstrate Christ-centered behavior by treating people with dignity, respect, compassion, and integrity.
- Member of the Patria Church (or willing to transfer membership to Patria Church).
- Pastors are required to attend all regularly scheduled Sunday and Wednesday church services. Support staff must attend at least one (1) regularly scheduled weekend church service.
- Attendance at all mandatory meetings and events. This includes serving at Good Friday, Easter, and Christmas services as well as the annual volunteer appreciation event.
- Regular involvement in Patria Church activities, ministries, neighborhood groups, and events.
- Tithe 10% to the Patria Church.
- Demonstrate full alignment with Patria Church’s Statement of Faith and core beliefs as outlined in the Employee Handbook, on the official website, and through consistent practice in ministry, leadership, and daily life.

Physical Requirements
